Grand Blue Devil Fruits: All 10 Fruits, Odds & Moves
The table gives two sets of odds because the sources measure different things. "Tier odds" is the rarity band the community Trello assigns to each fruit; "Fruit Chest odds" is the per-chest roll chance from the Fandom Fruit Chest table. Each move lists the stat it scales with, which tells you whether a fruit suits your build before you eat it.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Darkness Fruit | Celestial | 0.5% | 0.25% | Black Hole (Energy Scaling) Liberation (Energy Scaling) Black Vortex (Energy/Strength Scaling (highest)) Dark Matter (Energy Scaling) | Absolute Darkness: Blocking swallows projectiles, and Liberation fires them back. Fruits checked:
How to get a Devil Fruit
Your first fruit should come from Almighty Calvin's one-time quest in Anchor Town, which pays out a Fruit Chest. After that, fruits spawn on trees every hour, and Fruit Chests come from codes, world bosses, treasure maps and the Celestial Coin shop. The fruit guide covers each route step by step.
Logia and Reflex trees
Three fruits come with a skill tree that works like a second progression bar: Darkness and Flame have Logia trees, and Chop has a Reflex tree built around splitting apart to dodge hits. The full node text is below, copied from the Trello and trimmed of formatting.
Darkness Fruit tree
Top: Void Maw 1-5: Absorbing a projectile costs 5/6/7/8/9% less. Bottomless: Hold two more swallowed shots before your bank overflows – five instead of three. Wide Maw: Your guard swallows shots from 4 studs further out (7 at rank 2). Bottom Left: Dark Grip 1-5: +7/8/9/10/11 Darkness damage against sealed enemies. Everything Ends: Sealing someone tears out half of whatever is left in their Logia bar, and half their Energy. Smothering: Your seal holds 1.5 seconds longer (2.5 at rank 2) – a longer window to hit inside. Their immunity afterwards is unchanged. Bottom Right: Black Reservoir 1-5: +18/21/25/30/36 maximum Logia bar. Endless Night: Your Logia bar refills just as fast in a fight as it does out of one. Spoils of the Void: Putting an enemy down restores 15% of your Logia bar (25% at rank 2).
Flame Fruit tree
Top: Scalding Skin 1-5: +6/7/8/9/10 Burn to melee attackers you phase. Backdraft: The moment your Logia bar is emptied you erupt: everyone within 12 studs is set alight instantly and thrown back. Once every 45 seconds. Wildfire: Your retaliation Burn washes over everyone within 8 studs of the attacker (12 at rank 2), not just the one who hit you. Bottom left: Ember Flow 1-5: +15/18/20/22/25% Logia bar regeneration. Everburning: Your Logia bar refills just as fast in a fight as it does out of one. Running on Fumes: The moment your Logia bar runs dry, your body scrambles for embers: +40% bar regeneration for 3 seconds (+70% for 5 at rank 2), and phasing can’t pause the refill. An emergency lifeline when you need one phase more than you had. 90 second cooldown. Bottom right: Ember Reserve 1-5: +18/21/25/30/36 maximum Logia bar. Molten Core: Phasing a hit costs quarter less Logia bar – about a third more hits out of the same reserve. Feed the Flames: Putting an enemy down restores 15% of your Logia bar (25% at rank 2).
Chop Fruit tree
Top: Splinter 1-5: +6/7/8/9/10 Bleed to melee attackers you split around. Open Wound: Your Chop skills deal 20% more damage to anyone who is bleeding Shrapnel: Your retaliation Bleed washes over everyone within 8 studs of the attacker (12 at rank 2). Bottom Left: Pull Together 1-5: +15/18/20/22/25% Reflex bar regeneration. Quick Dry: Water still shuts the split off, but it lets go sooner: Wet lingers 4 seconds less on you Second Wind: When your reflex bar runs dry: +40% bar regeneration for 3 seconds (+70% for 5 at rank 2), and being hit can’t pause this refill. 90 second cooldown. Bottom Right: Spare Parts 1-5: +18/21/25/30/36 maximum Reflex bar. Paper Cuts: Splitting against basic attacks costs a quarter less reflex bar. Encore: Putting an enemy down restores 15% of your Reflex bar (25% at rank 2).
Which stat does each fruit want?
Most fruit moves scale with Energy, so an Energy-heavy build gets the most from Darkness, Bomb, Drain and most of Flame. Chop and Strength lean on Strength and Precision, Cannon is pure Precision, Spike scales with your level, and Spin mixes Level, Strength and Agility. Compare that with your fighting style on the styles page before you spend a Fruit Chest.
Devil Fruit FAQ
What is the rarest Devil Fruit in Grand Blue?
Darkness, the only Celestial fruit. The Trello puts the Celestial tier at 0.5%, and the Fandom Fruit Chest table lists Darkness at 0.25% per chest.
Do fruit skill levels reset when I swap fruits?
No. The official game description says Cursed Fruit skill levels are saved for each fruit, so you can swap and come back without losing progress.
How often do fruits spawn?
Every hour, on trees and plants around the islands, according to the official description. Other players can grab a spawn first, so check the trees as soon as you arrive on an island.
Are they called Devil Fruits or Cursed Fruits?
Both. The in-game description and Fandom say Cursed Fruits; the community Trello and most players say Devil Fruits. They are the same items.
